I’m excited about going to Tampa for my next event to promote my new oral history book, “Ninety Miles and a Lifetime Away: Memories of Early Cuban Exiles.” It will be at the Tampa Bay History Center in downtown Tampa. I’ll be in conversation with one of my narrators, the historian Gary Mormino, resident scholar of the Florida Humanities Council and author of numerous books on Florida history.
