I’m pleased to have been invited to present my new oral history book, “Ninety Miles and a Lifetime Away: Memories of Early Cuban Exiles,” at Leadership Florida’s 40th Annual Meeting this year. I’ll be part of the Writer’s Circle of other LF authors and get to tell my book’s story. A record crowd of more than 1,000 is expected for this anniversary celebration and, as a former LF chairman, I’m thrilled to be part of the program because so many of my LF friends helped me with the book. The presentation will be on Friday, June 24, at 12:15 pm, at Loew’s Sapphire Falls Resort at Universal Orlando. I hope to see all my LF friends there. #oralhistory #patriayvida
