Getting ready for another event for my oral history book about early Cuban exiles, “Ninety Miles and a Lifetime Away,” this time at the Matheson History Museum in Gainesville at 7 pm on Wednesday, Sept. 20. I’ll be joined by one of my narrators, Mario Cartaya, who wrote a book about his experiences, and together we will discuss our books and the Cuban exile experience.
