WFSU-FM recently aired a story about my oral history book about Cuban exiles, “Ninety Miles and a Lifetime Away,” and how it describes the beginning of the Cuban diaspora we are still seeing. They posted the story on their website today. More than 313,000 Cubans came to our country last year because conditions on the island are so dire. My book explains how and why it all began.
